If you need to record bookings that are not the standard booking types. To add custom booking types go to the 'Booking Types' tab in the settings area.


The last option in the list is for [Other Types] turn this on and click on the [Update Details] button. Once saved a new [View Custom Booking Types] button will appear.

Click on the Custom Booking Types button to view or add new custom types. 

Add a new type by entering in the booking type details and then by clicking on the green [Add Type] button.

The newly added type will be shown in the list.

When you next go to make a booking, the custom booking type can be found under the 'Other' booking type.

From the customer online portal the customer will not see the Other option but will instead see all booking types in the one dropdown list to avoid confusion.
