September Update
We've been busy over the past few months expanding on the new Pet Parent app, and adding some new Features to the platform. We just wanted to highlight some of the new features.
Pet Parent App / Customer Portal
Push Notifications
You can now enable push notifications to customers using the pet parent app, you can configure notifications from the Settings area on the Push Notifications settings page.
This feature uses the similar customizable templates to the Email & SMS notifications.
From the marketing feature you can also send mass push notifications to customers using the app.
Note: we can't guarantee delivery of push notifications as customers can block notifications on their device, or have the phone on do not disturb etc.
Chat Feature
The mobile app and customer portal now has a 2 way chat feature built in, you can enable this from the Online Portal Settings page, once enabled, you can being chatting with a customer by clicking on the 'Start Chat' button.
Pet Postcards/Updates
When you send postcards from within KennelBooker - customer will still receive them by email but they will also now be able to see all new postcards as a feed of images from within the Pet Parent mobile app.

Loyalty Feature
We have just release a new loyalty feature into the system which you can enable from the new Loyalty Points settings page. For each of your booking types you can set the number of points awarded for each booking, for boarding/homestay bookings points are awarded per night/day stayed, for single day bookings such as daycare/grooming etc points are awarded per booking.
You can then create rewards that customers can redeem their points for, such as free nights of boarding or credits for daycare/grooming etc.
Recording Feeding/Medications
From the daily overview screen in the feeding and medications tables you can now quickly create an activity record against each booking by clicking on the AM/Noon/PM buttons next the the pets details when pets are feed or given medications.
