Switch DNS providers
You will need to switch to either Google's DNS servers instead of your ISPs one (DNS issues can be an issue with ISPs - Googles own DNS servers tend to be more reliable and have less issues, the DNS service translates a websites domain name into an IP address) -
✅ Google DNS Settings
Preferred DNS server:
8.8.8.8
Alternate DNS server:
8.8.4.4
🖥 Step-by-Step Instructions (for Windows 10 / 11)
📍 Step 1: Open Network Settings
Click Start - then type Control Panel
Select “Network & Internet settings.”
📍 Step 2: Open Adapter Settings
Then click “Network and Sharing Center.”
Then click 'Change Adaptor Settings'
Then Right click on the WiFi network and click 'Properties',
Then click on the option highlighted and click Properties
📍 Step 5: Set Google DNS
Choose “Use the following DNS server addresses:”
Enter:
Preferred DNS server: 8.8.8.8
Alternate DNS server: 8.8.4.4
Click OK to save.
📍 Step 6: Close and Restart Connection (Optional)
Click OK on all remaining windows.
You may want to restart your PC to apply changes.
This should resolves the connection issue.
