Why the sync error occurs

The occurrence of this error arises when the link KennelBooker stores to the contact in Xero is lost - this can occur if it is manually removed from the Admin screen on the Customers profile.

When we try to send a booking/payment to Xero we first look to see if the contact already exists, if it does not we try to create a new contact, however Xero does not permit duplicate Contact Numbers (this is the prefix KB followed by their internal KB ID)

To fix this you will need to manually find their Xero ID and add it back to their KennelBooker account

Log into Xero and find the customer/contact - then click into their account, please note if you cannot find the contact you may have archived them in Xero.

Once in their account in the URL copy out the identifier - it should look like the following '662de58e-ccf8-43d2-a934-e0e8253027a5'

Copy this ID and then in KennelBooker when viewing the customers click into the Admin link in the left hand menu, and paste the ID in to the Accounting ID input and click Save
